Villa Vera, Acapulco

We had another beautiful resort day in Acapulco last week. After a bit of nice shopping we headed to the Villa Vera, a free resort, where we proceeded to swim, lie in the sun and drink banana daiquiris for hours. After a quick bite for supper we headed out into the balmy evening air and decided to walk to Walmart instead of cabbing it. We took our time, and the hour walk was absolutely beautiful. Acapulco is actually a fair sized city and the air was full of the humid warmth we sometimes experience on the best summer nights at home. Instead of being sticky, the air was silky.
